Here you will find a list of ballroom dances and other events hosted by Fort Wayne Dancesport. Scroll all the way down the page to find dates and other information about specific dances.

Unless otherwise indicated in the notice for a specific dance (below), the following is true of all Fort Wayne Dancesport ballroom dances:

• Dances take place at the IPFW Walb Student Union Building Ballroom (see a campus map, look for building 9 and parking garage 2). When you reach the IPFW campus, follow the "USABDA Dance" signs. The ballroom offers a large dance floor.
• Dances begin with a group lesson from 7:15 p.m. to 8:15 p.m., followed by general dancing from 8:15 p.m. to 11 p.m. (Note that Indiana now observes daylight savings time from mid-March through early November, putting us on the same time as Ohio and Michigan).
• The following admission charges apply (as of Jan. 1, 2010):

• Adult members $10.00
• Adult non-members $15.00.
• Youth members $5.00
• Youth non-members $8.00

• New members who join at a dance get free admission to that dance.
• Singles and couples are welcome.
• Absolute beginners are welcome!
• Dress code is "smart casual." No jeans.
• Our DJs play a variety of high-quality recorded music, including music for the following dances: cha-cha, east coast swing, foxtrot, hustle, mambo, merengue, rumba, samba, tango, waltz, Viennese waltz and west coast swing.
• Our membership comprises dancers of all levels who are eager to share dances with newcomers.
