As the newly elected President of Fort Wayne Dancesport Chapter 2046, I am pleased and very excited to be directing the chapter in the anniversary season, 1997 to 2007. I want to thank all of the member dancers who attended the chapter dances in 2006 and urge anyone who could not, to join us in 2007.
As we celebrate our first 10-year anniversary, we have an excellent board of directors, which you, the members, have elected. They are dancers and very musically inclined. We all love dancing and want to spread that feeling throughout the Fort Wayne dancing community. Our aim this year and for the years to come is to make dancing in Fort Wayne an even more wonderful experience. It will be one that gives charitably back to this community and also educationally to all of the youth of Fort Wayne and the surrounding communities.
I ask you to join in the fun and spirit of our chapter. Give us ideas for the dance themes we want to propose for each of the twelve dances in 2007. Volunteer to be a part of this momentum that I feel is building, and support the wonderful studios and the beautiful, fun and healthy dancing that they lead us in.
